Cascadia Foreign Policy is a new think tank launched by civic leaders and former U.S. diplomats who care about our home, the Pacific Northwest.
Headquartered on Washington’s rugged Olympic Peninsula with reach across the region, our mission is to unify and elevate the diverse voices of the Pacific Northwest to exert influence on foreign policy and national security decisions made in far-away Washington, DC.
Right now, it doesn’t feel like our voices are heard in Washington, DC. On the contrary, from strained relations with Canada and Asian trading partners, to the dismantling of global development and democratic partnerships, our interests and values as Pacific Northwesterners are under pressure as never before.
At Cascadia Foreign Policy, we aim to meet this moment, to build a stronger Pacific Northwest, and to stand up for our interests and values.
